Identifying a Sound Source
Sound sources are responsible for the acoustic environment that exists. When a Sound Source is identified and measured, all of the other co-occurring sounds are included in the Background Noise level.
For the purposes of the FHI, it is important to identify and measure the sound level of typical sound sources in the child's own environment.
