This is the level of response the child exhibits to the sound stimuli. These levels are in a range from least amount of response and cognitive involvement to the most complex response and cognitive involvement.

The levels of response are arranged on the table in numerical order (1-6) from least to most complex. The evaluator should record the level of response, by recording the corresponding number for the type of response on the form. Refer to the explanation of the Codes Table on page two of the protocol for examples of possible responses for each level.
