The intial reliability studies for the Functional Hearing Inventory were completed on individuals who are deafblind. As the project continues, there are plans to do validation and reliability studies on other populations of students with disabilities, including those with hearing loss, visual impairments, learning disabilities, mental retardation, autism, and those who are emotionally disturbed.
