• The CIEL team developed an interactive training module for pre-service teachers’ online teaching
based on our Quality of Online Education framework. This training course will start running in
Summer 2022 in the teacher education program.

• CIEL created a Digital Literacy Assessment course to meet TEA requirements for the Teacher
Education department. This course tests digital literacy provides resources for Google Educator
Certificate. This course is housed in in TopHat, and it will be available to students in Summer 2022.

Assurance
• The CIEL team created an accessibility assurance plan in 2021. We teamed up with the TTU
eLearning Accessibility team to run reports and fix online course issues to make them accessible.
Our plan is to assist in making all EDUC online courses accessible for our students. This project will
be continuous, so get on our list today!

• We continue to assist in course development for all College of Education courses. The CIEL team
offers design and development services each semester. We also check accessibility during course

Development
• As one of our long-term external clients, we created online courses for West Texas AHEC education
programs: AHEC Scholars, Community Health Worker and Behavior Health Workforce. We are in the
process of provide design updates and course content improvements.
• CIEL is assisting in designing and developing the Graduate Student Orientation site for the C&I
department.
• CIEL is assisting in designing and developing the EDUC Doctoral Student Hub for the College of
Education website. Along with the design, we are assisting in enhancing their support videos and
ensuring they are accessible with captioning.
